What is FarmFlyer?
FarmFlyer brings 30 years of hobby and industry experience to the design, operation and applications of Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). Recent advances in this exciting technology have the chance to revolutionize the way we gather images and data in difficult environments. It can give us a unique perspective along with unprecedented detail over vast and varied missions without incurring the cost or risk of manned aerial operations. These systems operate at low altitudes and speeds that just aren’t possible with a larger craft. The aircraft and sensors provide stable images through the use of the latest flight control systems and gyro stabilized mounts.
What kind of equipment do we use?
Various types of airframes and sensors are employed based on the mission requirements. Multi-rotor helicopters (Octocopters, Hexacopters an Quadcopters), small fixed-wing aircraft or a combo mission with multiple types may be used to meet your requirements. Sensors can include High Resolution Photography, HD Video, Near-Infrared Imaging and custom solutions. There are several data processing and post-production options. Airframe design, fabrication, assembly, repair and training services are also available.
Where are we located?
Operating out of Lexington, KY means that serving Louisville, Cincinnati, Frankfort, Danville, Harrodsburg, Somerset, Richmond, Mt Sterling, Ashland and areas in between can be accomplished in a single day for many missions. If your operation is outside that service area we would be happy to travel to your location. Fabrication and repair inquiries are welcome from any location.

Ready To Fly Airframes
This is the EASY way into sUAS. All you need to tell us is the final result you wish to achieve. We can deliver ready to fly airframes based on your specific requirements. Our offerings include fixed-wing and multi-rotor aircraft with almost any sensor you can imagine. We will soon be offering spec-designs to meet common mission requests. Keep watching.
Flight Testing and Training
Don’t know an aileron from a prop nut? No problem. We have thousands of flights on over 300 different types of airframes under our belt. From 1 ounce micro flyers to 30lb turbine powered beasts we have pilots that have flown them all. We’ll be happy to fly for you. If you want to have pilots in-house we will design a training program to get you up and running in record time.

Fabrication
